The Connection 5/14/23

Scripture:  Proverb 22:1-6

22 A good name is more desirable than great riches;
    to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

2 Rich and poor have this in common:
    The Lord is the Maker of them all.

3 The prudent see danger and take refuge,
    but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

4 Humility is the fear of the Lord;
    its wages are riches and honor and life.

5 In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls,
    but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.

6 Start children off on the way they should go,
    and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

What to Expect Upon Arrival:

Temperatures will be taken. Masks will be optional.

We are asking the members who can do so to pledge $1000.00 towards paying off the new boiler expense.  This is an ongoing campaign.  All donations are welcome. 

*Church will be closed from May 15th thru May 21st due to conference, it will reopen on May 22, 2023.

Church School:  Will be Closed  Sunday, May 21, 2023 and resume on SUNDAY,  May 28, 2023.   

 Women’s Bible Study:  No women's bible study for the rest of May. We will resume on Monday June 5th. Please read James chapter 3-5. On the Phone. (617) 769-8626 (No access code needed). 

Men’s Bible Study:  Will be Closed  Thursday, May 18th and resume on  Thursday, May 25, 2023.
